Episode 42 - Teddy Roosevelt on the Supremacy of Character

Teddy Roosevelt ascended to the highest office in the land as the youngest man to ever do so.  He didn't achieve such heights by accident.  He achieved them through strength of character.  Character is what allowed him to take on Standard Oil's monopoly and win.  It drove him to establish the National Park system which we all enjoy today.  And it kept his compass correctly oriented in the face of unending special interests.

It is for this reason that Roosevelt said, so accurately, that above all others attributes is character.
