David Marquet is a retired Navy Submariner as well as a student and teacher of leadership, in addition to be a twice-published author.  I had the privilege to interview David and dig into his thoughts on empowerment vs. emancipation, leading vs. managing, and how we might implement leadership best practices, as seen through the eyes of an accomplished naval commander on one of the most technologically sophisticated platforms in the United States Navy.
